Dubai, Quebec discuss cooperation
The Finance minister of the Canadian region of Quebec, Monique Jerome-Forget, has visited Dubai's Department of Finance where she was received by the Department's Deputy Director General, Mohammed Hamad Al-Shehi.
They discussed a number of financial and tax issues, infrastructure development and other related matters.
Al-Shehi presented to his guest his department's financial experience, the system of operation and development over the past few years. He called for close cooperation and sharing of experience in the light of the rapid development in the world of business and finance.
He said the visit had opened many doors of cooperation with the government of Quebec.
The Canadian minister expressed profound happiness for visiting the UAE and for having first hand information about the modern system in use by the department. She expressed the hope for strong cooperation between her outfit and the department.
