Sheikha Fatima confident of success for The Arab Women's Summit

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation '&' Charwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU) hosted this evening an Iftar which was attended by a number of personalities from the Arab Women's Organisation (AWO).

The guests offered greetings to Sheikha Fatima on the occasions of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eidul-Fitr.

Sheikha Fatima was briefed on the steps and arrangements made to host the 2nd Arab Women's Summit, to be held between November 11-13 under her patronage.

Present were Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan, wife of General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Sheikha Al Yaziyah bint Saif, wife of the foreign minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The guests included Sheikha Mariam Al Khalifa, Representative of H.H. Sheikha Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain, Dr Widad Badran, Director of the AWO, Dr Lulua al Awadhi, AWO's Legal Advisor and Noura Al Suwaidi, Director of GWU.
