Small-sized agricultural cargos from Oman exempted from fees
Minister of Environment and Water Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahd has issued an ordinance exempting small sized agricultural cargoes from Oman to UAE, from processing fees levied by the ministry against issuing fitness certificates.
The ordinance also exempted from licence processing charges, small herds of livestock imported from Oman.
The maximum weight of agricultural cargoes should not exceed 1.5 tons and should not contain seedlings in order to avail the benefit of this exemption, according to the ordinance.
The move is aimed at enhancing agricultural exchange between UAE and Oman.
