Workshop on challenges facing media women in UAE

The Journalists Association-UAE, in association with the International Federation of Journalists, will organise a workshop on challenges facing women journalists in the region.

Over 40 media women from UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Yemen will attend the two-day workshop, which will focus on the methodology of breaking the stereotype approach to journalism.

Secretary at the Association Mona Busamra said that the workshop to start on Wednesday will create an opportunity for the media women in the country to meet their counterparts in the region.
